Bolting her eyes all frightened and wide, she looked ahead, then once to left and then to the right, of her bedside.
A laugh so evil, it scared her right out of bed!
And in an instant, she met the wall and banged her head!
Out like a light, she passed right out!
The being within her range, dragged her body and covered her mouth, so when she woke up, she could not cry or shout!
He carried her into his bed and placed her down with loving care.
He stared and stared, while he played with her golden hair!
Her eyes started to flutter, as she started to wake!
Then the bed began to shake from a mini earthquake!
He jumped into the bed and held her so tight,
she was so confused and yet so full of fright!
She remember now it was Halloween night,
perhaps this was a dream, instead of a true sight!
She met his eyes, so black as can be,
he whispered he loved her, and his name was Lee.
He explained he was the Chosen One and was here to marry her.
She was hoping this was not real, that is was just a dreamy blurr!
He pointed to the black satin and lace gown hanging up before her eyes,
for they were to marry and the honeymoon would be a surprise!
She gulped down in fear, as he gave her a glass of wine, whispering
"It will be so very soon and then you will be mine, all mine!"
She took the drink to calm her nerves, this was very real and not a dreamy blurr!
He handed her the gown and asked her to dress, as he closed the door,
but she just wanted to rest!
Dress as she did, all in black, she looked in the mirror and was taken aback!
She saw his face, as he entered the room, he was quite handsome, this stranger, her groom!
He gave her a wink and grabbed her by the hand, as he bedded her down, this handsome, muscular man!
He showed her his fangs and she gave him her neck, he took her to the heavens as she thought, oh what the heck!
Again and again he pleased her so much, she trembled and trembled at his magnificant touch!
"I now pronounce you man and wife" she heard someone say as
she smiled and smiled on this glorious day!
He took her hand and held it so tight, assuring her there is much more coming for her, on this wedding night!
He picked her up out of the bed and opened the door, it was time for them to dance, on the ballroom floor!
A waltz it will be, he decided right then!
They danced and they danced, and she beamed like a jewel,
he then sat her down, on a purple velvet stool!
He explained he had to go and he hoped she enjoyed the show.
For she will only be happy when she sleeps, for her real life is sad and it continually makes her weep.
"I bid you goodbye, my sweet little one. I will see you in your dreams, in the dark, when there is no sun". He kissed her goodbye and she woke up to hear, her alarm was ringing as another work day was here.
She began to cry as she remembered her dream.
A man so handsome and so right, who only existed in the dark of the night.
