Storm of Fear

pumpkinhead writes "It was a dark and stormy night. She came home in a fright!
Rain poured down like buckets, soaking her to the bone, she could not see the road and thought she would not make it home.
Inside the house she ran, her clothes were sopping wet, she did not even think that a bigger storm was to be met!
No one cared about her evening or asked if she was ok, all that was heard were insults coming her way!
She could not believe the fire that the monsters breathed her way, she was even more frightened and did not know what to say!
Their souls were filled with anger and hatred eased on out, all she could do was cry and simply began shout - "What have I done, I thought I did so good, did I wander into the wrong neighborhood?" She recognized the place that she thought was her home, but instead she was a stranger and felt so all alone!
The pain became unbearable and the tears they stung her cheeks, she felt sick to her stomach and continually began to weep!
Thunder began to roll on by and lightening began to light the sky! It was not a light that she once knew, it was a light of dismal blue!
Bluer than the crayola she knew as a child, who were these people who were mean and volatile?
Hostility and anger tourmented her soul, she felt like hell began to blow! Blow into the hearts of those she thought she knew, a devil in disguise that would cause a ghost to scream BOO!
Screams became unbearable on this dark and stormy night, it is not a tale, it is but her life.
Her life that bears thorns on the roses she once grew, now they are all dead, these people she once knew.
Bury their anger into the past, how long will it truely last? Last no more, she had enough, the devil is too evil and plays too rough!
Sweetness has disappeared as her eyes look with fear, for there is a storm tonight, that will forever scare and fright.
